Ya'll - It's about to get real. Real local and real tasty. Have you ever wondered how our community would sustain itself with only the products within? What would happen if we were cut off from the rest of the world? Well, tribe, we're about to see just that. Now, stay calm and carry on. Not only do we have a beautiful area to be stuck in but we have farmers producing: beef, lamb, pork, chicken, vegetables, cheese, and baked goods! It's easy to get stressed from the fear and the unknown but know this - our community is stronger than you think! We are fortunate to be small enough to be able to put our milk supply into aged cheese that you can devour in a couple months when we're all sitting around laughing about our stocks in toilet paper and lysol. But for now, other local producers and small business owners are really starting to feel that tinge of 'WTF are we going to do now!'. Please support these folks in kind words, gift cards for later use, and curb side services. These entrepreneurs are pulling hair out trying to figure out what to do and how. Their inputs (suppliers such as Sysco) are tightening their grip and there is little place to go. Viruses and mass chaos is usually not included in cash flow.
For us, you can now pre-order cheese and soap on our website. We currently only have two locations but are welcome to more options! There is no need to be quarantined without great cheese!
For the next possibly handful of weeks - look around! Take your sweet ass time and enjoy this life you've been given. When was the last time you just laid out in your yard and listened? When was the last time you got lost in lego world? Now you know what I'll be doing!
